CJAM FM is constantly evolving and the summertime is no exception. We’ve got some exciting new schedule changes plus additions to the CJAM FM lineup so listen up!

– SCHEDULE CHANGES –

Caribbean Riddimz is moving to Saturday afternoons. Tune in starting June 23rd from 3pm-5pm for your tropical gateway to the weekend featuring fantastic reggae, roots, and rhythm!

Headapce is moving to Sunday afternoons from 4pm-6pm. Headspace is your weekly showcase of eclectic jams, oddities, rarities, parodies, funky cover versions, and much more – plus plenty of new Canadian music to keep you plugged in.

Jazz Traditions is moving to Tuesday mornings. Same time – same fantastic new jazz – 9am

– NEW SHOWS –

Nite Flights returns with your pilot Walt. Sail through your Wednesday nights from 10:30pm-midnight with eclectic electro, rock, and beyond.

Journey to the Edge is a prog-rock odyssey. Join the Professor of Prog as he brings you through progressive rock history on a Journey to the Edge every Thursday at midnight – right after Nite Flights.

Hang out on your Tuesday afternoons with Macks Tracks – music variety with a kick-off-your-shoes vibe – 2:30pm-4pm.

Joining the Sunday afternoon lineup is Mighy Mezz Hour – an hour of new jazz releases with a rotating cast of hosts from 3pm-4pm.

Mondays just got synthesized with Holy Synth!  DJ Schmidt explores the world of synth and computer sounds at 12 midnight, right after the Beat Junkie Show.

And last, but certainly not least, No Thank You is feminist talk radio. Hosts Melissa & Micaela focus on womxns issues & topics Monday afternoons at 4pm.

Volunteers do a lot at CJAM

Every time you tune in at 99.1 FM you’re hearing a volunteer on the air. Volunteers also help by maintaining our enormous music library, writing radio scrips, producing public service announcements, interviewing cool artists, reviewing music, helping out at festivals & events, updating our social media, and so much more!
