Voice of the Underground: Watch the Radio Transformation

On November 14th, 2013, CJAM FM celebrated its 30th anniversary as an FM campus/community radio station in the Windsor/Detroit area. After being on 91.5 FM for a little over 25 years, CJAM changed frequencies to 99.1 FM due to a number of factors. These events were captured and documented in the 2010 documentary Voice of The Underground. Now three years after the release of the documentary we can see the extended footage of CJAM FM’s first broadcast on 99.1 FM, never before seen in full. See the behind the scenes discussions and actual video of the first 99.1 FM transmission which originally aired on October 7th, 2009.
