Welcoming Carley Schweitzer – CJAMs new Station Manager

CJAM 99.1 FM is excited to announce the hiring of a new Station Manager.
Carley Schweitzer has been involved at the station for many years and we couldn’t be happier to see her join the team!

Carley started volunteering with CJAM while doing her undergraduate degree at the University of Windsor in Communications, Media, & Film. She worked here through the Work Study program, and hosted the music variety program Soundtrack Attack for several years. She currently hosts Everything’s No Good, spinning mostly indie, rock, surf, electronic, and anything else that catches her ears on Sunday afternoons. In 2015 she worked through a grant as CJAM’s Volunteer Coordinator before moving in to the Program Director position in 2016.

Since leaving CJAM in May 2019, Carley has worked for both Windsor Pride Community and Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario – both wonderful non-for-profits that help different communities. In 2019 and 2020 she sat on the Windsor Arts Culture & Heritage jury, helping to distribute City of Windsor grants to artists of all mediums. Carley is also a new juror for FACTOR – a private non-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance toward the growth and development of the Canadian music industry.

During the pandemic she spent way too much time in the garden and fermenting cabbage for sauerkraut. You can often find her hanging out with her dog, Kojak, walking around the neighbourhood or at Ojibway Park.
