CJAM Celebrates Pride!

Windsor Pride is this weekend and CJAM is YOUR station to get you excited for the fun. We have lots of specials from a diversity of shows. We are proud to be a part of Pride.

The Canadian Jam:

Start your pride week with some music from the Great White North! Tune in to the Canadian Jam on Monday, August 6^th from 10:30 – noon for a pride playlist featuring Canadian artists that identify as LGBTQ.

Also on Monday, August 6^th from 4-5pm, join Jessie and co. for discussions about homophobia in our culture and within the feminist movement. What causes this divide and how can we change the pattern?

Research Matters:

What is happening in regards to LGBTQ research at the University of Windsor? Tune in from 4:30-5pm on Thursday afternoon to hear Stephen interview Barry Adam, a UWindsor sociology professor, the Senior Scientist and Director of Prevention Research at the Ontario HIV Treatment Netowrk and the author of The Rise of a Gay and Lesbian Movement.

CJAM is proud to be marching in the Windsor Pride Parade for the second year. Many of our staff and volunteers will be showing their support and solidarity with the LGBTQ community.
