Volunteers power CJAM and we are looking to create our 2025 Events Committee πŸ’«πŸ’Ώ

The time commitment varies per event, but ideally, we are looking to throw a music show, workshop or arts and culture-focused event monthly and two larger-scale events a year to accompany two major fundraisers πŸ’°πŸŒΉ

We are looking to fill the volunteer positions of:

Events Chair – Spearheads each event. Creates a timeline and budget for the planning of events and is the main contact.

Events Co-Chair – Helps the chair keep track of everything. Secretary at meetings.

Graphic Designer – Can create fun and engaging posters and web/social media posts for events and workshops. Knowledge of Adobe programs, Canva preferred. Portfolio of work is preferred.

Social Media Coordinator – In charge of creating a social media and web calendar to properly promote each event.

Fundraising and Merch Coordinator – Someone who has a few tips and tricks for fundraising at a not-for-profit. Would also be in charge of creating, ordering and marketing our merchandise.

Volunteer Coordinator – In charge of recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to help out at events.

General Members (2) – Helping hands to give insight, distribute posters, do some running around and general tasks as well as help out at the actual events.

Every time you tune in at 99.1 FM you’re hearing a volunteer on the air. Volunteers also help by maintaining our enormous music library, writing radio scripts, producing public service announcements, interviewing cool artists, reviewing music, helping out at festivals & events, updating our social media, and so much more!
