Blast from the past!

I wandered into the station, across from the Pub, in 1982, when it was just a closed-carrier signal that you could only pick up in residence. They offered me a DJ show, and for the next 4 years, I was part of an amazing community of music lovers and aspiring broadcasters. It was especially an honour to be part of the team when the station became CJAM-FM and began broadcasting at 91.5 to the Windsor-Detroit area, during an exciting time for new music. Every week, I’d put in my 3 to 4 hour shift, playing my choice of current and some older music along with PSAs and promos, and talking to whoever was out there listening.
