Pledge Drive: Day 2

josh

Day 1 was quite the party. We heard from YOU through your support, helping us raise over $5,000 right out of the gate. We are well on our way to our goal of $30,000!

For the kickoff, we had a ton of programmers stop by and join in the festivities. We also were out at the FM Lounge, where Cellos, Surdaster and Silent Movie Type played our loud showcase and helped out the cause. Big thanks to the bands and everyone who made it out.

Yesterday, Pledge Drive kicked off at noon, so today is our first full day of Pledge Drive. We’re starting this morning at 7am with Wind Wave and going all the way to The Trip, which begins at 12:30pm. In between we have 11 shows that demonstrate what CJAM is all about. Call in and show your support: 519-971-3630 (Windsor) & 313-963-6112 ext. 3630(Detroit).

Tonight, CJAM events go American. The Muggs, Doop (of the Inside Outlaw), Grayling, and Class Three Overbite are all playing the CJAM benefit at the Cadieux Café (4300 Cadieux Road, Detroit). Come on out, American listeners! Canadians, this is your chance to experience the fun across the border. (Plus I hear feather bowling, Belgian food and rock n’ roll are quite the paring!) It all starts at 8pm and 18+ are welcome.

Make sure to call in to your favorite show today and pledge your support. You can also donate online at www.cjam.ca. Be sure to check out the brand new incentives we offer this year. Also follow us on Facebook and Twitter to get all the updates about what is going on around the station.

We can’t do this without you!
