Revolution Rock, Tuesdays, February 5^th, 10:30AM -noon
Revolution Rock celebrates Black History Month by venturing into genres that aren’t normally featured on the show such as Jazz, Blues, Soul, R&B, Reggae, etc. The show also focused on Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue from 1959, playing a selection of tracks from this highly influential and breakthrough album.

On February 14^th, explore music recorded in France by African-Americans for the Pardon My French ‘Americans in Paris’ special.  From 20s era jazz up until the American Civil Rights movement, listen back on the music that these artists were not able to create and perform at home.  From Josephine Baker to Sidney Bechet to Nancy Holloway, you can’t miss this episode of Pardon My French.

Research Matters – Thursday, February 7, 4:30-5PM
