A special edition of Space Truckin’ will be aired this Sunday night from 10:00PM-Midnight with the “Have yourself a Space Truckin’ Easter!” (whatever does that mean!? – ed.)
At the 11 o’clock hour, Julian Bélanger will be playing the classic Italian progressive rock album by the band LATTE E MIELE titled “Passio Secundum Mattheum” in its entirety. The album is based on the Gospel According To Matthew. That may sound pretentious, but it is a great adventurous slab on 1970s progressive rock full of strange keyboards, pounding drums, jackhammer guitar riffs and a choir singing in Latin. Considered by many prog enthusiasts as a “symphonic progressive rock masterpiece”. Reviews can be read here: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=787
In appreciation for tuning in, Julian Bélanger will be giving away a pair of tickets to see The Carl Palmer Band at The Magic Bag on Sunday, April 21st, 2013 in Ferndale, MI. USA. That’s right…the great Carl Palmer of the band Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Have yourself a Space Truckin’ Easter! (that’s the ticket! – ed.)
