Award winning Israeli journalist Gideon Levy will be on the Windsor Chronicle this Friday discussing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. For three decades he has travelled every week to Gaza and described what he sees. His recently published book, “The Punishment of Gaza” chronicles the Palestine occupation from 2005 to 2009.
Levy was the recipient of the Euro-Med Journalist Prize for 2008; the Leipzig Freedom Prize in 2001; the Israeli Journalists’ Union Prize in 1997; and The Association of Human Rights in Israel Award for 1996.
