After 26 years of service to the Chinese, Cantonese, and Mandarin communities, CJAM veteran Philip Liang will broadcast his final installment of his long-running program Chinese Reflections this Saturday from 3 to 5 pm this Saturday.
Mr. Liang – who joined CJAM in 1988 – has been broadcasting in three languages all along, serving the Windsor and area Chinese, Cantonese, and Mandarin communities with news, culture, and music.
His program, Chinese Reflections, has been a gathering point for the community since 1988, when Mr. Liang originally joined CJAM and became a dedicated campus and community broadcaster, serving his communities ever since.
Mr. Liang’s final broadcast will see him looking back on his time at CJAM, and speaking to the importance of representation at campus and community radio stations such as CJAM. Mostly, it will be a fitting farewell to a career that has spanned four decades.
