1. Parker Ouellette — “Drawn From Memory”

Folk
Windsor, ON

Windsor folk artist Parker Ouellette pairs thoughtful songwriting with a warm, lived-in sound shaped by his Cape Breton roots. Featuring local singer Willowbrook, “Drawn From Memory” blends reflective lyricism with a classic country sound. The pair’s voices carry a timeless quality that makes it hard to believe they’re two of the region’s young rising stars, both just twenty-somethings. Best experienced with a slow dance partner and a glass of Jack Daniel’s.

2. 3 THE HARDWAY — “Defiler”

Punk Rock
Detroit, MI

Detroit trio 3 THE HARDWAY channel the city’s long punk tradition through a blend of proto-punk attitude, garage rock grit, and riot grrrl energy. “Defiler” arrives with sharp hooks, driving rhythms, and no shortage of urgency.

3. Indiana Drones — “Phantom”

Alternative Rock
Windsor, ON

Originally a one-man studio project from singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Justin Zuccato, The Indiana Drones have evolved into a full four-piece outfit delivering a distinctive blend of nostalgic alternative rock and modern grit. With “Phantom,” the band showcases the thoughtful songwriting and meticulous production that have helped Zuccato earn a reputation as one of Windsor’s most prolific and hardworking musical voices.

4. Camcussion — “Super Cute Puppy Image”

Electronic
Windsor, ON

With the energy of Detroit’s Movement Electronic Music Festival still lingering, this month’s Singles Club wouldn’t feel complete without an electronic selection. Windsor producer Camcussion continues to blur genre boundaries on “Super Cute Puppy Image,” a playful and inventive release that embraces experimentation while keeping listeners on their toes.

5. Talking Violet — “Survival Mode”

Shoegaze / Dreampop
Windsor, ON
Windsor trio Talking Violet describe their sound as “dreamo,” blending shoegaze, grunge, and dream-pop into something uniquely their own. On “Survival Mode,” shimmering guitars, soaring melodies, and walls of texture come together to showcase a band continuing to carve out a distinctive place in the alternative music scene.

6. The Sad Hour — “Dead Nor Alive”

Goth/Punk Rock
Detroit, MI
Detroit’s The Sad Hour bring together goth, post-punk, and death-rock influences in a sound that is equal parts theatrical and haunting. The band describes their latest release “Dead Nor Alive” as “a blood-soaked gothic western homage to gunslinger cinema that invokes the horseback chase of Coppola’s Dracula with the more somber tones of Del Toros Crimson Peak.”

7. Crissi Cochrane — “Little Dove”

Electronic
Windsor, ON

The latest single from Windsor-based singer-songwriter Crissi Cochrane is a moving reflection on motherhood and unconditional love. Built around intimate vocals, acoustic guitar, and soaring string arrangements, “Little Dove” captures both the joy and vulnerability of raising children.
