Guided By Voices Special on Revolution Rock

Dayton, Ohio’s Guided By Voices announced earlier this year that they were splitting up, again. The band led by the prolific Robert Pollard rose to acclaim in the 90s with their lo-fi recordings and songs about seemingly endless subjects. After reforming in 2010 with what is often referred to as their classic line up and releasing six albums, three of which came out in 2012, the band called it quits again in 2014. Join Revolution Rock host Dave Konstantino on Saturday December 13th, 2014 from 7-9 PM for a radio program featuring the music of Guided By Voices. This episode will feature music from the Guided By Voices classic albums such as Bee Thousand, Vampire On Titus, Alien Lanes as well as some of the band’s rare material. Also joining on this program will be occasional Revolution Rock co-host Adam Peltier and local artist Greg Maxwell.
