Peter and Brittni Meet Peter and Brittni. Together, they host the literary program Hardcover. Hardcover is a words and literature-focused program. Besides discussing the literary, your hosts Brittni and Peter feature authors, publishers, and poets from the Windsor area and beyond! Catch Hardcover on Monday’s from 4:30 to 5 PM. Q: How long have you been involved with CJAM?
A: Peter studied radio at Humber, so technically he’s been on the air off and on for five years. Hardcover started up on CJAM in March 2015. Brittni’s radio experience started on this fateful day.

Q: Two Words to describe your show
A: Hardcover is: bookish and quirky.

Q: How did you become a CJAMmer?
A: Hardcover got started when Brittni received a CJAM email through the UWindsor English grad department looking for spoken word programs about literature or writing. She immediately jumped at the chance: she emailed CJAM a probably too-enthusiastic email and informed Peter about the opportunity. Together, they decided to start a program about words, highlighting Windsor-Detroit writers, poets, and wordsmiths.

Q: My other life consists of
A: Peter’s other life includes: media directing for a theatre company, church, and music.
Brittni’s other life includes: stage managing, making coffee, and playing guitar.

Q: Best Live Music Experience?
A: Peter’s best live music experience: The Killers, two years ago at Caesar’s!
Brittni’s best live music experience: Weird Al, this past summer at Caesar’s!

Q: What do you love most about CJAM?
A: What do we love most about CJAM… Well, it’s awesome. We’re free to have our own voice instead of selling out to corporate radio.
