Welcoming Gin Ebony – CJAM’s New Music Director

CJAM 99.1 FM is pleased to announce the hire of Gin Ebony as the station’s new Music Director.

Gin is a writer, broadcaster, and sonic curator known for her weekly electronic showcase program, STEP01. In 2014 she relocated from Toronto to pursue integration within the music communities of Windsor and Detroit, sparking her career in radio journalism.

” I am very proud to represent CJAM FM as the new Music Director,” says Gin. “I cant wait to begin working with everyone at CJAM — staff and volunteers alike”.

Murad Erzinclioglu, the former Music Director, will continue to be a part of staff until July 17th. “Murad has done an incredible job throughout his tenure as Music Director,” says Station Manager Brady Holek, “during his time here he has revamped the Music Department and brought in more music then ever, created the local singles club, and created lasting station contacts with venues and promoters throughout Windsor and Detroit. And that doesn’t even scratch the surface of his contributions to the Station as a whole. Murad has done it all with professionalism and an unmatched enthusiasm.”
