1. Crissi Cochrane — “Her Name”

R&B/Pop
Windsor

How can a song be both “chill” and “fierce”? When it explores the pain of betrayal while striving to protect the peace. “Her Name” blends lo-fi beats with intimate acoustic instruments, evolving from a minimalist first verse to a bouncy, dance-it-out fullness. At first listen, “Her Name” seems lighthearted and serene, but a whisper track, fluttery bass lines, and back-up vocals crooning “who?” add to the visceral under-your-skin feeling of this song about not wanting to know more than you’re ready for. – Crissi Cochrane

2. Autumn Kings — “GONE, GONE, GONE”

IG: @autumnkingsband
Post-Hardcore/Pop Rock
Windsor

Autumn Kings’ “Gone, Gone, Gone” sits in that post-hardcore/metalcore lane but keeps things pretty clean and catchy. Big guitars, driving drums, and vocals that lean into hooks as much as the heavier parts.

It’s very chorus-focused. High energy, a bit emotional, and easy to get into.

3. Bushog — “Come Up and Get Me”

Rock
Windsor

Bushog’s “Come Up and Get Me” leans into a raw garage rock sound—fuzzy guitars, steady rhythm, nothing overworked. It carries that classic rock & roll feel, with a bit of roughness that feels true to the kind of live sets you catch around here.

4. Reckless Upstarts — “Menace”

Punk
Windsor

“Menace” is straightforward street punk from The Reckless Upstarts. Fast, loud, and direct, with a clear Oi! influence and anti-fascist message. Built for live shows and crowd singalongs.

5. Soft Touch — “leavin it all behind”

“Leavin It All Behind” is a smooth, hazy single from Soft Touch, released April 4 on here i am today. It pulls from lo-fi, hypnagogic pop—think John Maus and Ariel Pink—alongside touches of post-punk and shoegaze.

6. AFC — “Minor Setbacks”

Minor Setbacks” hits hard right away and stays tight the whole time. It’s heavy without feeling blown out. Everything feels really dialed in, so it still comes through clean even at its most intense.
