CJAM Joins CKUT’s Homelessness Marathon

CJAM is proud to be part of the over 40 Canadian campus-community radio stations that participated in this year’s CKUT Homelessness Marathon. For 11 years,  CKUT has united Canadian radio through talking about homelessness and housing.

Last night, Paul Chislett of The Shake Up (Fridays from 4-5PM), hosted a roundtable discussion on homelessness in our community with individuals who have lived it first hand. The group talked about the challenges, stigma, and what is like on a day-to-day basis. The night wrapped up with an amazing original song by Rockin’ Robbee.
